Transfiguration Macabre by Raāg
10 years ago today, our first album "Raāgnarök" was completed. It took exactly one year to arrange the tracks, record and mix them.
10 years later, I felt the need to revisit some of those (and more)... Here are four of them, freshly remixed and partly re-recorded. Part of it closer to the original demos and ideas, but also more matured and refined.
'Delirium Tremens', 'The Rooks Have Returned' and 'Spontaneous Combustion' were first imagined as a triptych at the time, with 'Requiem' added in for good measure.
Hope you'll like their brooding vibe.
All tracks originally recorded in 2013/2014. Featuring Lavinia Roussel on drums (track 1), Dora Lussiana on viola (tracks 2 & 3) and Lari Mevimann on keyboards (tracks 1,2,4) and drums (tracks 2 & 4). All other instruments played by Finrod Artîwelë.
