I am a remnant
of millennia gone
of the past
of this world
of the last.
Of all the lives I never lived,
made up of all the ones I did,
I am a remnant.
Remanent,
I remain.



Remnants is an album about becoming that spends more time focusing on having been. In my humble human opinion, these states are one and the same. Every moment of being is both a reaction and progression of the everchanging world we see in and around us, and though these states are separated only by our own perspective in time, I can only know the past, so I focus on what I know. There are also many issues that keep me stuck in the past, so the time spent making this has certainly been cathartic for me. This album is intended to document some of those events and more importantly the corresponding emotions that have brought me to here. Having recreated these emotions, I hope more than anything that this album will comfort others who feel and have felt the same.
