One day. One take. One thousand dollars.
On January 24th 2010, Chartered Heston recorded their debut EP at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver’s downtown eastside. Using rudimentary tools like electricity, borrowed amplifiers and sandwiches, Chartered Heston spent the day in search of the perfect take. Proof that less is more, Little War is a live-off-the-floor recording that makes a thousand dollars sound like a million bucks.
