I have been playing the guitar for many years. It was my meditation medium. Few have heard me playing until then. Now is the time to show me and resonate.

In 2009 I discovered DADGAD and it opened up a new world for me. Since then I play almost exclusively in this particular guitar tuning.

"In relation" is a pun. It can be read and understood both English and German. It suits me both, meaning that I am in relationship and going forward, and consciously accepting and experiencing myself in relation to my environment.

The album contains a selection of pieces that have been created over the last 10 years and is a portrait of my own development and story. Each piece tells one of them. (See description for each title)
The oldest track of the album is "Nway Nway" from 2009. The newest tracks are "Slapstick" and "In Relation" from 2019.

DEUTSCH

Seit vielen Jahren spiele ich Gitarre. Es war mein Meditationsmedium. Nur Wenige haben mich bis dahin spielen gehört. Jetzt ist die Zeit gekommen, mich mitzuteilen und in Resonanz zu gehen.

Mit DADGAD hat sich mir 2009 eine neue Welt erschlossen. Seitdem spiele ich fast ausschließlich in dieser besonderen Gitarrenstimmung.

"In Relation" ist ein Wortspiel. Es kann sowohl englisch als auch deutsch gelesen und verstanden werden. Für mich passt beides und bedeutet, dass ich in Beziehung bin und gehe, mich bewusst einlasse und mich immer wieder in Bezug auf mein Umfeld erlebe.

Das Album enthält eine Auswahl der Stücke, die in den letzten 10 Jahren entstanden sind und ist ein Portrait meiner eigenen Entwicklung und meiner Geschichte. Jedes Stück erzählt eine davon. (Siehe Beschreibung zu jedem Titel)
Das älteste Stück des Albums ist "Nway Nway" von 2009. Die neuesten Stücks sind "Slapstick" und "In Relation" von 2019.
